The pipes then carry the water to a discharge point downstream, such as a pop-up emitter, or allow it to percolate into the ground using a dry well or infiltration trench. The polyethylene construction of the catch basin drain grate is treated with UV inhibitors to prevent cracking or fading, ensuring durability and longevity.
