Polylok 6 Flow Gate

When water enters a drain pipe, it needs to go somewhere. The flow gate, which attaches to 6” hub sewer and drain fittings, pops up when the flowing water pressure hits it, allowing the water to discharge. Once the water stops flowing, the flow gate closes again to prevent anything from falling in.

Simply press the flow gate into the pipe, and you can stop worrying about finding debris, rodents, or anything else you don’t want in your pipes. This fade-resistant flow gate is available in green. It allows water captured by grates, catch basins, channel drains, flow-well, downspouts, and roof gutter systems to flow through the drainage pipe to a water-safe area like a gutter.

The flow gate is opened by the hydrostatic pressure of water flowing through the drain pipe. As the flow decreases, the emitter closes again. It is particularly useful for discharging water from retaining walls and street curbs.
