Pop Up Drainage Emitter for Downspouts, Yard Drains, Gutter Drains

The primary cause of flooded basements and failure of buried downspouts is when grass grows over the discharge area. To address this issue, we have developed the turf restrictor plate - allowing grass to grow on top of the 11.5 inch plate without obstructing the lid from opening and releasing water.

This kit includes FDM's Turf Restrictor Plate with Pop-Up Door, a 90-degree elbow, FDM's HDPE Coupler for easy connection to 4-inch corrugated pipe, and FDM’s 4-inch Riser.

Featuring a massive 4-inch opening, the hinged lid allows large debris such as pine cones and sticks to flow out effortlessly. The lid diameter matches the pipe opening, making it easy to access and clean out if necessary.

The turf restrictor plate prevents grass from obstructing the drain, ensuring that vegetation grows over the edge of the plate rather than covering the discharge area.

Designed for low maintenance, the pop-up emitter easily clears debris during heavy rain, and the larger opening allows homeowners to clean out any remaining pine cones or sticks by hand.
